Things I personaly use and like to use

Online banking : Revolut (for its versatility and ease of use, I have a debit card and all things automatic and fluid) and TradeRepublic (to save and invest.. you get 4% returns on uninvested cash to fight inflation) – PS : Might not work outside of Europe.

Cryptoccurency : I have multiple virtual crypto wallets, I don’t have a cold wallet yet but I would recommend any new crypto user to get one (own your data!). All crypto exchange platforms are shit, KYC and all that stuff… NO KYC = Shady (though…)!

Regardless, here are the platforms I use :
Phantom(wallet) mainly for holding Solana, Coinbase(wallet and exchange) mainly because it is as much versatile as it holds countless coins. It is a big corporation but they seem to do their job well. Finally, I have a Metamask(wallet) which I rarely use, because it is ethereum only…
I always dabble with various and new crypto technologies and projects. I’d recommend a beginner to get a coinbase wallet, if you’re more advanced and are a digital nerd, simply get a ledger. There are always caveats, choose well.

Cybersecurity : I use ProtonVPN and all of their services. Of course it is a corporation, but they’re pretty legit. Besides that, I have countless plugins, set-ups and tweaks.

Confidentiality and password management : Good ole KeePassXC, free, open-source and reliable. (I would not recommend cloud-based password managers)

Communication and social apps : I use Discord, which is okay. Reddit is awesome, not perfect though. The fediverse follows some type of petty anarchist framework but is still quite interesting, such as Mastodon. I prefer forums (yes, they still exist…), for other things. I hate Twitter even more than Instagram.
